As Founder and President of Union Capital, Tom's career in financial services has spanned nearly 30 years. Beginning in the heart of New York's financial district with Merrill, Lynch Pierce, Fenner & Smith in 1986. Then transitioning to North Carolina in 1990, Tom held Financial Consulting positions at Wachovia Bank, High Point Bank & Trust, and First Charter Investment Services. Union Capital was founded in 2008 serving families and businesses in Union County,the greater Charlotte area and across the country. Tom's strong foundation of planning knowledge and broad experience in the capital markets enables him to effectively guide and educate clients to make financial decisions they can have confidence in.
Tom: Earned his BA from High Point College in 1986. Completed study at the Southeastern Trust School of Campbell University in 1995. Completed all education modules in Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning in 2006.
Tom has lived in Charlotte since 1996. He is married to wife Sherry and has two very active daughters, Mary Grace & Madison Leigh. As a former member of the High Point College tennis team, he continues playing today, along with running and if time permits golf.
